Paolo Coruzzi - Solo

SOLO — February 1995

Solo marks the beginning of Paolo’s solo career after parting ways with his first band, Wild Waves (later renamed Onde), with whom he released the first two albums of his career: Make It and Stati d’Animo. The album was recorded and arranged at Gulp Recording Studio by Cipo Calliari and represents the first step towards a more personal and intimate musical identity.

Paolo Coruzzi - Immagini

IMMAGINI — June 1998

Immagini was recorded at Gulp Recording Studio with producer Cipo Calliari and released while Paolo was serving in the Italian Alpini troops. Most of the songs were written during train journeys across Europe in the summer of 1997, shortly before beginning military service. The album captures a youthful spirit of travel, transition and reflection.

Paolo Coruzzi - In Acustico

…IN ACUSTICO — August 2002

In Acustico is a collection of “forgotten songs” alongside newer compositions written between 1999 and 2002, during a gradual attempt to bring music back into Paolo’s life. A decisive turning point came after winning the SIAE scholarship as one of Italy’s most promising songwriters in 2002, refining his craft under the guidance of Giulio Rapetti (Mogol) and Alfredo Rapetti (Cheope).

ELLISSI — September 2002

Ellissi emerged after a four-year period almost entirely devoted to theatre. Finally returning to music, Paolo found that although his fingers were rusty, creativity was flowing more freely than ever before. Literature, poetry and travel merge into a new and emotionally charged musical journey.

Paolo Coruzzi - Linea Obliqua

LINEA OBLIQUA — November 2002

Linea Obliqua represents the second chapter of Paolo’s “back to music” period. Electronic influences, abstract imagery and experimental lyrics reveal a temporary shift in direction and atmosphere. It is an album shaped by restless nights, sensuality and rainy skies.

Paolo Coruzzi - Simmetria

SIMMETRIA — January 2003

Simmetria continued Paolo’s intense creative exploration during the early 2000s. Still searching for a distinctive sound and musical identity, the album reflects his growing passion for audio production, experimentation and evolving sonorities, while rock music gradually returns to the foreground.

Paolo Coruzzi - Morso

MORSO — May 2003

Morso takes its name from the rock band formed by Paolo together with Antonio Spadafora (drums), Giancarlo Calí (bass) and Paolo Da Milano (guitar). Raw energy, friendship and pure rock ’n’ roll spirit define this vibrant and powerful project.

Paolo Coruzzi - Seta Nera

SETA NERA — April 2004

Seta Nera explores humanity and the world through fairy-tale atmospheres and poetic imagery. Themes of love emerging from darkness, knights and princesses, death and rebirth intertwine within music suspended between dream and reality.

DISTANZE E RITORNI — October 2005

Distanze e Ritorni is an energetic and deeply personal album that reflects one of the most transformative periods in Paolo’s life. The year 2005 was marked by friendships, dreams, ambitious projects, unforgettable journeys and the rediscovery of confidence — including overcoming the fear of flying.

Paolo Coruzzi - Anima Irradiata

ANIMA IRRADIATA — April 2007

Anima Irradiata is based on a selection of poems originally written and performed for a stage production. In this work, poetry and music blend together in a delicate dance of emotions and suspended imagery. The poems were later published in the book Viandanti nelle Terre del Sole.

LIBRANTE — June 2007

Librante reflects Paolo’s enthusiasm for songwriting and musical experimentation. The album reveals his desire to expand his arrangements, improve his technical skills and continuously explore new compositional possibilities and sonic landscapes.

Paolo Coruzzi - Horizon

HORIZON — July 2007

Horizon is Paolo’s second English-language album after Make It, released with Wild Waves in 1992. Inspired by memories of journeys across America, the album is rooted in rock music and driven by themes of transformation, freedom and new possibilities.

Paolo Coruzzi - Il Principe Felice

IL PRINCIPE FELICE — October 2007

Il Principe Felice was composed as the soundtrack for the Italian theatrical adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s The Happy Prince. The album combines songs and instrumental compositions that seek to capture the emotional depth and magical atmosphere of Wilde’s timeless tale.

…IN ACUSTICO 2 — June 2010

In Acustico 2 continues the journey through Paolo’s “forgotten songs”, gathering acoustic compositions written between the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010. The album offers an intimate and reflective musical experience.

Paolo Coruzzi - Alborea

ALBOREA — March 2011

Alborea explores the journey from darkness back into the light. Deeply introspective and experimental, the album meditates on the questions and contradictions of life. Songs often evolve into tales, while others remain suspended in a dreamlike musical limbo.

Paolo Coruzzi - Semesi

SÉMESI — May 2012

Hidden for many years inside an old hard drive, Sémesi finally emerged into the light after a long silence. The songs portray a troubled and uncertain period, marked by the search for answers, renewal and the courage to begin again.

Paolo Coruzzi - Mediterando

MEDITERRANDO — August 2014

Written on the island of Sicily, Mediterrando is filled with vibrant colours, Mediterranean warmth and emotional intensity. Its songs speak about people, memories, melancholy and the celebration of life, all painted onto a richly Mediterranean musical canvas.

SEASONS — December 2018

Seasons is an instrumental album exploring a variety of musical landscapes and atmospheres. Guided primarily by guitars, the album travels freely across genres and moods, blending different styles and sonic textures into an evocative instrumental journey.

Paolo Coruzzi - Stellamare

STELLAMARE — January 2023

Stellamare consists of six songs created to explore a new musical direction, combining pop and drum’n’bass influences without abandoning the expressive role of guitars. The album reflects a dialogue between Mediterranean roots and the newer British atmosphere surrounding Paolo’s life.

Paolo Coruzzi - Viaggio a ritroso 1

VIAGGIO A RITROSO 1 — January 2025

Viaggio a Ritroso is a collection of acoustic reinterpretations originally recorded for a series of YouTube videos. The project was created with the intention of preserving the memory and emotional essence of Paolo’s songs through more intimate performances.

Paolo Coruzzi - Dawnawake

DAWNAWAKE — June 2025

Dawnawake gathers together Paolo’s instrumental compositions originally published on the meditation platform Insight Timer. The album reflects a long period of uncertainty, introspection and spiritual research lasting over two years. Melancholy, hope and contemplation emerge throughout the music, shaping an intimate and deeply reflective listening experience.

Paolo Coruzzi - Rocchenroll!

ROCCHENROLL! — July 2026

Rocchenroll is a project centred around electric guitar-driven Italian songs arranged with a hard rock attitude. Written and recorded between 2014 and 2015, the album remained hidden away for years due to major changes in Paolo’s life direction. Now, after a long silence, the time has finally come for these songs to be brought to life.
