A selection of productions directed and developed between 2005 and 2019, reflecting a long-standing passion for storytelling, performance and stagecraft.
Before focusing primarily on music, education and research, I spent many years working in theatre as a stage director, actor and creative collaborator.
My theatrical journey began in Italy and led me to work alongside distinguished artists and institutions, including the Teatro Regio di Torino and productions associated with figures such as Franco Zeffirelli, Ugo de Ana, John Cox and Josè Carlos Plaza. These experiences provided invaluable insight into the creative process behind large-scale opera and theatre productions, while also shaping my own artistic approach to storytelling and performance.
The productions presented below represent a selection of works staged between 2002 and 2015, ranging from classical drama and contemporary theatre to experimental projects. Although theatre is no longer my primary professional focus, it remains an important chapter of my artistic journey and continues to influence my work as a musician, educator and researcher.
My experience in theatre continues to influence everything I do today, from music performance and songwriting to teaching and public speaking.
Theatre taught me the importance of atmosphere, narrative, audience engagement and emotional communication—elements that remain central to my work across different disciplines.
